France's Dewoitine D.720 reconnaissance

The French government put out a request for a reconnaissance aircraft that could carry three crewman.1 It was also to be used for bombing and training.1 An order for 1,000 of these were to be built, but the French government never confirmed the order.1
The D.720 had retractable landing gear.1
Prototype
On July 10, 1939, the D.720 prototype flew for the first time.1
