Design
The Junkers Ju 88P was based on the airframe of the Ju 88A-4.1
The nose was solid.1

- Junkers Ju 88P-0: Pre production.1
- Junkers Ju 88P-1: Mounted 75 mm in a ventral fairing.1
- Junkers Ju 88P-2: Mounted two 37 mm cannons in a ventral fairing.1
- Junkers Ju 88P-3: Mounted two 37 mm cannons in a ventral fairing.1 Converted from a Ju 88A-4 with increased armor protection.1
- Junkers Ju 88P-4: Mounted 50 mm in ventral fairing.1
Usage
The Ju 88Ps were used by Germany.1
Small numbers were constructed and were mostly used on the Eastern Front.1 The proved to be vulnerable in the day time.1 From 1944 on the Ju 88Ps were used at night.1
