Germany's 17-cm Kanone 18
17-cm K 18
It was produced by Krupp of Essen and introduced in 1941.1 The demand for it was great enough that Krupp had to delegate production to Hanomag at Hannover.1
By 1942 the 17-cm K 18 was given priority over the 21-cm Mrs 18 because it fired almost the same size shell, but had longer range.1
The gun could be traversed the full 360° by a single man.1
