Design

Was originally designed to be used by the RAF, but the war started and the order was ended.1

The first Ca 310 flew on February 20, 1937.1

Prototype

Production

Variants

  • Ca 310: Had Piaggio C.35 radial engines.1 161 built.1
  • Ca 311: Had glazed nose for bombing and reconnaissance.1
  • Ca 312: Had Piaggio engines and ordered by Belgium and Norway.1
  • Ca 313: Served with Sweden.1 Transport and torpedo bomber.1
  • Ca 313G: Made for Germany and took around 23,000 man hours to complete.1

Usage

The Ca 310 series were used by Croatia, France, Germany, Hungary, Norway, Sweden, and Yugoslavia.1

The Hungarians returned their planes and they were used by the Regia Aeronautica.1

Norway purchased four planes and they were destroyed by during the German invasion.1

After 1943 Ca 311s, Ca 313s, and Ca 314s were still being used.1
