The 75 mm M1897 was modernized and became the 75 mm Gun M2.2
Ammunition
The 75 mm Gun M2 used HE, AP, APC and chemical smoke rounds.2
Carriage
A two wheel split trail was used by the M2.2 The crew could fire the gun from either the wheels or carriage.2 It took the average crew around 3 minutes to emplace the M2.2
