Design

All four wheels or just the rear two can provide power for the 3/4 Ton, 4x4, Truck.1

The 3/4 Ton could also be used in desert conditions as there was a four quart capacity radiator surge tank.1

Variants

  • 3/4 Ton, 4x4, Truck:
  • 3/4 Ton, 4x4, Weapons Carrier: Was used to carry weapons, tools, and equipment.1 Had a removable canvas top.1 There were bucket seats in the cab.1
  • 3/4 Ton, 4x4, Ambulance: To be used by the Medical Corps.1 Could carry 4 litter or 8 seated patients.1 There was heating and insulation.1 Early models had a closed cab, and later models an open cab with a canvas top.1
  • 3/4 Ton, 4x4, Telephone Installation: To be used by the Signal Corps.1 The body had compartments for storing tools.1 There was a 24' extension ladder mounted on the left side.1
  • 3/4 Ton, 4x4, Carryall Truck:
  • 3/4 Ton, 4x4, Command and Reconnaissance Truck: Staff officers would use this for transportation.1 It could have a radio installed.1
